FUZZY-BASED DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR PRIVATE BANKING

Private banking is one of the most profitable services offered by financial institutions in Brazil. In this service, a client should consider suitability range product, during his or her life based on dynamic objectives. It very complex service that involves regulation from governmental agencies, institutions’ interests, and clients’ not uncommon for these aspects to be conflicting, hindering decision-making process leading unwanted decisions. This paper describes development decision support system (DSS) private banking, called OptPrivate, integrates assessment with portfolio selection, enabling investor choose several conflicting The DSS considers investment selection problem two interconnected subproblems: capital allocation. former, an integrated modeling approach legal investors’ preferences throughout fuzzy multiple-attribute (MADM), FTOPSIS-Class. latter, multi-objective optimization model uses sorting results previous step define portfolio, simultaneously considering risk, return, investor’s profile. To facilitate application, linguistic variables are used process, including risk exposure. was validated using field tests at well-respected bank recommends more suitable portfolios, line profile, greater profitability less volatility than those recommended analysts all test cases.
